Ingredients:
Split Gram Lentil – 250 grams, Karisal Mother Sambar powder – 40 grams, Groundnut Oil – 50ml, Castor Oil – 25ml, Mustard – 1 gram, Urad Dal – 1 gram, Red Chilli – 2 grams, Ghee – 25ml, Curry leaves – As much as needed, Coriander leaves – As much as needed, Onion – 75 grams, Tomato – 125 grams, Garlic – 25 grams, Green chillies – 20 grams, Tamarind – 25 grams, Coconut – 100 grams, Vegetable – 800 grams, Salt – As per taste, Water – As mentioned in the steps
Cooking Process:
Step 1:
Take split gram lentil (250 grams), turmeric powder (5 grams), castor oil (25 ml), tomato (125 grams), salt (34 grams), and garlic (25 grams); add 250 ml of water, put everything in a pressure-cooker and boil it appropriately.
Step 2:
Fry 100 grams of grated coconut, add 40 grams of Mother Sambar powder, put this into a mixer grinder, and grind it to a fine paste.
Step 3:
Soak 25 grams of tamarind in water and filter it. Keep it ready.
Step 4:
Pour 150 ml of groundnut oil into a pan, add 75 grams of onion and shallow-fry the mixture to a nicety. Add 800 grams of vegetable and shallow-fry it again.
Step 5:
Add tamarind paste and 1800 ml of water and boil it to the requisite level.
Step 6:
Once the vegetable is half-baked, add the ground coconut masala paste and the boiled split-gram lentil solution. Boil it on the stove for 15 minutes.
Step 7:
finally, add coriander leaves and curry leaves before taking the pan off the stove.
Step 8:
Take mustard, urad dal, and red chili, sauté them in ghee, and add this mixture to sambar.
