Ingredients:
Mutton – 1kg, Karisal Madurai Mutton Gravy Masala – 50 grams, Groundnut Oil – 50ml, Fennel – 2 grams, Curry leaves – As much as needed, Onion – 275 grams, Tomato – 375 grams, Ginger-Garlic Paste – 10 grams, Salt – As per taste, Water – As mentioned in the steps
Cooking Process:
Step 1:
Begin by pouring oil into the pan, adding fennel and curry leaves, and sautéing the mixture.
Step 2:
Following that, add 275 grams of onions and shallow-fry until the mixture achieves a very smooth texture. Add 10 grams of ginger-garlic paste and 375 grams of tomatoes, continuing to sauté until the oil is separated.
Step 3:
In the next step, add 1 kg of mutton meat and sauté for five minutes.
Step 4:
Subsequently, add 50 grams of Madurai Mutton Gravy Masala, the required amount of salt, and 2.5 Liters of water. Allow it to simmer on a medium flame for 30 minutes.
Step 5:
Once the gravy reaches the desired consistency, remove it from the stove, squeeze the juice of 1 lemon, and give it a good stir.
Now delicious Madurai Mutton gravy is ready.
